The different types of stone pavers you can use for your pool deck are brick, cobble, tumbled, slate, flagstone, marble, granite and travertine.

This all depends on what kind of look you want for your pool deck. Darker colored brick pavers and tile pool decks tend to become very hot if they have direct sunlight throughout the day. Concrete pavers reflect sunlight and are more comfortable.

You will want to refill pavers every couple of years to make sure weed growth doesn’t occur.

Do pavers have the strength and durability as regular concrete?

Yes! Actually having pavers for your pool area is a smarter choice. The reason is that these pavers are more flexible than regular concrete and require less upkeep and repair. It also gives a more appealing look than a regular slab concrete does.

Do I need to remove existing concrete when remodeling with pavers?

Not always. If your concrete is in good shape with few cracks then we can use thin pavers right over your existing concrete.

How are pavers secured around my pool deck?

They can be mortared, interlocking, or have a sand that bonds them together.
